Mandilee Newton
Prior to joining acla:works in 2003, Mandilee practiced in Barbados where she worked mainly on contemporary residential projects. She has played a critical role as project architect on a number of acla projects, with active responsibility and involvement in design development, production information, and contract administration. She is keen on holistic, contextual design and is particular about architectural detailing—the way in which materials are assembled and constructed. Currently, Mandilee’s focus is on sustainable design, and, in 2009, she became a LEED Green Associate.
