North Coast Study
Since the mid 1960s the north coast area of Trinidad has been under consideration for tourism, but has remained largely undeveloped. Today, attention is being refocused on the area. The Industrial Development Corporation’s re-examination encouraged potential hoteliers to make proposals for sites on the north coast. Recognising the need to respond in some sort of policy framework, the IDC engaged Anthony C. Lewis Associates to propose the physical framework and design parameters for specific sites in the area. This forms part of a general marketing and feasibility approach used to evaluate potential investors.
