Private Residence Couva
The owner required a spacious but simple home that captured the expansive view over the Gulf of Paria and openness of rural estate lifestyle. The house is set far back from the road on the top of a hill to maximize the view in the distance. There are only two bedrooms with overhead mezzanines within the steeply pitched roof and a large living space and porch. The entire building is clad in dark timber boarding and the roof is of natural timber shingles in keeping with the rural setting.
